There is something so alluring about sea glass. Wave tumbled for who knows how long, do you always wonder where it came from or how old it is?

These earrings feature a pale green sea gem with dangling silver organic shapes, embossed with a seaweed design. The silver has been made very thin so the earrings remain light weight to wear. 

Inspired by our proximity here to the beautiful Indian Ocean, I’ve been using found sea glass and pairing it with embossed sea grass motifs. Unfortunately Seagrasses are in decline globally due to sustained pressure from coastal development, water quality declines and the ongoing threat from climate change.
