Unique bookmark inspired by the unusual flowers of the Sturt's Desert Pea found in the arid outback of the Australian landscape.

Sturt’s Desert Pea is one of Australia's best known wildflowers, growing prolifically in arid inland regions with annual rainfall of between just 125 to 250mm per year.

The very distinctive pea flower is incredibly striking with it’s contrasting glossy red petals and black centre, these flowers exude personality! (Sometimes nature throws in some unusual colours of pink or white too)

Sturt’s Desert Pea is the floral emblem of South Australia.

Made in my Perth studio, this bookmark is fashioned from stainless steel. A little black wooden bead is attached to mimic a nut.
